Port Hope United Church has a very active Visitation Team, under the umbrella of the Membership Committee. At present we have 14 team members who try to visit about 45 seniors or shut -ins. Our list consists of people who live in their own homes, or in retirement or nursing homes. We try to visit a minimum of 4 times a year, and bring news from the church along with a friendly chat.
We can always use new volunteers, so if you are interested in assisting the Visitation Team, please call the church office, and leave your name with Caroline. Also, if you are aware of a church member who could benefit from a visit, please let us know.
