Port Hope United Choir
The Port Hope United Church choir has always played an important part of our regular worship. The wonderful accoustics in our sanctuary enhance our music.
Choir rehearsals are held Thursdays at 7:30 pm

The choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. On Sunday mornings the choir gathers at 9:45 am for a short warm-up and a review of the music of the day. The choristers are accompanied on the Casavant organ or grand piano.
Currently the choir has 20 singers: 4 bass, 4 tenors, 7 sopranos and 5 altos. We sing a variety of music including contemporary, traditional and gospel and have an extensive library of music which is well catalogued.
Our choir members are given the opportunity to sing solos, duets and trios. On special occasions guest musicians such as pianists, violinists and guitarists are invited to share their talents.
