Junior Church

Our Junior Church meets every Sunday.
Generally the children meet in the sanctuary for approximately the first 20 minutes. This allows them to share in Worship, participate in the “Good News” portion of the service as well as sing the opening hymns.

Rev. Dan has a special time with the children, called the “Moment of Discovery” after which they leave to begin their own program. The current theme of study is “Route 66 – a Journey through the 66 Books of the Bible”.  In 2010 the group will be starting study of the 4th book. This biblical study is also complemented with a “hands-on” segment called “God’s Amazing Creation” which includes science and nature activities.

The children prepared a Christmas Eve pageant entitled “Guess who’s Coming to Bethlehem”. Julie Stewart directed this wonderful musical play.
